TERRA designed the site for this 250-bed hospital. The project was completed in two phases: first utilities relocation; then the new hospital expansion and all site related features. Services were designed so that an existing medical office building and emergency department would not be disrupted. A 13 ac-ft. detention pond has been expanded to 29 ac-ft. to accommodate addition and future water management needs.

Parking for more than 300 spaces, loading dock, adjacent courtyard area and nature walk are among the amenities associated with the new hospital. The project scope included providing construction documents including site demolition, site dimensional layout, site grading and drainage, site utilities, and site details. Permitting was processed through the Village of Bolingbrook, Illinois American Water, and IEPA. Construction services include site visits, responses to RFIs and shop drawing review.

In addition, TERRA provided the civil engineering for a new medical office building adjacent to the new hospital. TERRA provided all infrastructure design for the building, drives, parking lots, and greenscape.
