TERRA was selected by the Illinois Capital Development Board to provide professional design services to assist Governors State University with the full reconstruction of three key areas on their University Park campus – 4,200 linear feet of their main road University Drive, a loading dock and handicap parking area for three semi-trucks and eight parking stalls, and 2,800 linear feet of their pedestrian alumni path. TERRA conducted the field condition report and paving assessment along University Drive, the loading dock and the Alumni path in addition to engineering a full set of construction documents outlining required improvements. TERRA’s scope of services include surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture to support the project in addition to coordinating electrical engineering (site lighting) improvements engineered by others. The project is slated for construction in summer 2014.
