In 2007, the Park District of Oak Park developed a multi-phased master plan to completely revamp the existing facilities of its widely used public space, Maple Park. Completed in autumn 2010, the first phase of the master plan incorporated a new eastern pedestrian walkway including a 340 foot bump-out on Maple Avenue, two new tennis courts, pathway lighting, a multipurpose flex field, park furnishings, and a dog park. TERRA provided civil engineering services throughout the project process and worked closely with the landscape architect to develop a detailed construction and contract documentation package that addressed the unique challenges of the park renovation.
