TERRA Engineering provided civil engineering services for the construction of a new 600,000 GSF high-end office building in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. The building now serves as the corporate headquarters for McDonald’s.

TERRA performed site design from concept through construction documents. Design elements included a complex stormwater management plan with an underground CIP concrete detention tank. TERRA also designed the surrounding streetscape, including crosswalks, ADA ramps and street lighting elements.

The project was permitted through the City of Chicago Department of Transportation, and the Department of Water Management. TERRA performed construction administration throughout the project.
