TERRA provided site development for a four-block area at Clybourn and Division. This is a combined development through the City of Chicago, Department of Transportation, the owner, Kimball Hill (Developer) and the CHA.

The four-block Phase I site included mixed residential (large condominium complexes, and townhouses). New streets, utilities and streetscape are being constructed for the development, as well as several open areas for the neighborhood.

In addition to coordinating the overall site work for the project, TERRA provided all the site development for the project, and all the streetscaping. Storm water detention was provided by an innovative system which stored the storm water under permeable pavers in the driveways for the site, and under landscaped area in coarse aggregate. This system was found to be less expensive than the normal underground storage with a network of catch basins and storm sewer.

TERRA provided the construction documents for the site demolition, site layout, grading and drainage, as well as the utility connections, permitting and construction observation for the project.
