TERRA provided construction engineering services for the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority Central Administration Building’s south parking lot. The south lot required asphalt pavement resurfacing, parking expansion at the existing helipad area, drainage and lighting improvements, pavement striping and ramp patching on the eastbound Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) entrance ramp.
Special aspects of this project included the installation of prefabricated permeable concrete for sidewalk areas, and Class AX PCC around the loading dock area.
TERRA’s staff monitored all construction activities; provided maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans; provided quality assurance testing (aggregate, PCC and HMA); and maintained all project records.
